What helps me LEARN to LOVE

Happy LOVE Month!

I am sitting in my backyard with the sun in my back as I write this message to you about what has helped me learn to love and then I want to invite you to let love speak to you.

I believe LOVE is a person. I John 4:8 says, “Whoever does not love, does not know God because God is love.”

Love Found Me Through My Brother at the Start of My Journey

When I was thirteen, my older brother, Chad loved me when I was awkward, insecure, and unkind. THAT changed me. What kind of love is this? It went BEYOND the way I should’ve been treated. He WAS LOVE to me!

Jesus modeled this love to us in how He treated the disciples, the woman at the well, and sinners—just like us. He loved us before we ever KNEW how to love.

Love Found Me Through My Brother in the Lord in My Kingdom Creative Movement

Randy Schimon became my intern and helped me launch my online Create Academy student portal, where hundreds of students over the past 6 years have done my courses and where Randy has been with me on my weekly identity sessions, and traveled globally with me. Since 2019, he has served me and our now Kingdom Creative Movement for over 6 years through health struggles and personal issues—he has been so faithful, showing all of us agape love.

And last Saturday, Randy went home to be with the Lord, and from his hospital bed he was still encouraging our KCM students just hours before he went home to be with Jesus.

Love Looks Like Something...

We have to find people like these two brothers found me to share agape love with.

For instance, I am going to be helping young women at a clinic who have chosen to not abort their baby, so that they can find healing and receive LOVE through my Create To Be Free Art in Healing Class on Tuesday nights for the next 4 Tuesdays. Why? Because I learned to love from my parents who stood in front of an abortion clinic for over 30 years weekly, helping girls to choose life rather than abortion.

I was shown how to love and now I AM Love to those who need it.

Love is in You to Give Away

This week, I want to encourage you to remember the people who have taught you how to love—like my brother Chad and KCM pastor Randy and I want you to see how you can thank them. If they have passed—maybe in a journal letter or if they are alive through an email, card, or special creative gift.

Then, I want you to think of someone who can’t pay you back and whom you could love today and BE that Love to someone who hasn’t learned to love like you!!!!

Let’s become the love of Jesus to someone this week.

Happy Love month everyone!
