Have you ever experienced emotional or relational wounds that were difficult too difficult to talk about or just seemed to far away to reach? Sometimes, what we carry in our hearts goes deeper than what we know how to express. But God has given us creativity as a powerful way to encounter His presence, process our emotions, and discover His healing truth.
Join Theresa Dedmon and her KCM leaders for this healing workshop, where you will discover how to partner with God through creative expression to bring healing to emotional and relational wounds.
Theresa’s Create To Be Free course online has set thousands of people free and now she has developed A NEW Create To Be Free Module that deals with isolation issues, fear, performance, and perfectionism that has crept into our culture as a result of COVID’s aftermath and the political world-wide unrest that is happening globally.
You will be guided through a creative process using watercolor to express what God is revealing to you, encounter His presence, and explore how He wants to bring healing to areas of your heart that need restoration.
You will be creating space for God to meet you in the creative process and then process what God has shared with you in small groups.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE
Create Art Through Encounters With God
Encounters with God will lead you to know what to paint and what colors to use. God will be releasing you as you create. This is why watercolors are the best medium because it’s not about getting an image on paper, but letting go and processing with colors and quick references in what God shows you.
Release Emotional and Relational Wounds
As you create in a non-judgmental way, you will be able to process the pain or feelings that the Holy Spirit has surfaced and then replace it with God’s love, truth, and freedom.
Connect and Process in Small Groups
You won't have to journey alone! Theresa’s KCM trained leaders will facilitate the small groups after the art session is done. Then, you will have the chance to share your artwork, reflect on what God has been revealing, and experience encouragement, connection, and prayer with others.

Many of you may be looking at an Art In Healing Christian Version to teach or lead, so that you can see others get healed. No artistic experience is required! Whether you have never picked up a paintbrush or already love creating, this workshop is designed for you.

Please have the following supplies ready for the workshop:
A pan watercolor set
Watercolor brushes
Watercolor paper (legal-size)
