Why FAITH Moves Mountains

Imagine being there when Joshua told the people to march around the walls of Jericho 7 times. On that last time around, they saw the power of their faith MOVE and topple walls before them when they gave a loud shout. Victory happened through obedience.

When this happened, all of Israel was able to march through.

Put yourself in the place of the woman with the issue of blood who had had this issue for over 12 years. Through her faith, she pressed in and reached out to touch Jesus. And then, power flowed through and in an instant—she was healed.

We all celebrate her faith and we have to believe that this faith is available to us for our healing.

Why do I share these stories?

Because faith is standing right in front of you.

One act of obedience, moves heaven.

Remember, you are born to see signs and wonders!

This is a recent photo I took of our sunrise in the back greenbelt by our home that illustrates the power of our breakthrough overcoming moments.

Now, let me share with you about Kevin and my journey of faith moving our mountains.

When I was pastoring in Southern California with my husband, Kevin, I had developed a condition called a pressure hive on my legs that would cause terrible itching and sores whenever something like fabric rubbed against it. I tried for three years to figure out how I could be healed both from God and medically—and nothing happened.

After moving to Bethel in 2002, I was up on the prayer line after service every Sunday, but nothing changed. My faith was running out, but I didn’t give up.

Finally, I asked Sozo director, Teresa Liebscher, what I should do, and she said, “Have you asked Jesus?” I said I hadn’t done that directly. So that night I asked Jesus WHY I wasn’t healed.

Jesus said it was a root of fear. I commanded fear to go and I have never suffered with this condition since! Praise Jesus!

Now, let me share about Kevin.

Kevin had dried up the discs in his back and couldn’t lift his right foot. He received prayer from Bill Johnson and other staff and nothing happened for over 6 months. Finally, I had a word of knowledge and said that God was going to heal him on his birthday.

When Kevin woke up on his birthday, he turned on music and realized that he was tapping his RIGHT foot and was completely healed!

We have seen marriages restored, emotional pain go through art in healing, and through other kinds of prayers.

Reach out to touch the hem of Jesus’ garment and see the walls of Jericho fall, so that you can enter your promised land!
