What You Start With... Determines Your Future
Every action is rooted in the thought that produced it. When Paul talks about “taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ” in 2 Corinthians 10:5, he wasn’t kidding. If we allow negative mindsets to take up residence, then our actions will follow those thoughts.
This is a killer to our creativity and our Kingdom inheritance. We can’t afford to have a thought that didn’t originate in the heart of the Father.
When my grandchildren have thoughts against someone (it can definitely with each other), their faces crinkles up, their voices become sharp, and no good thing comes out. It’s a poison that unless dealt with can cause strife.
One of the chief weapons of the enemy is to try and separate us from God and one another. Unchecked thoughts that are negative in nature lead to severing key relationships in our lives. It also prevents hope from growing in our heart.
These mindsets can impact our creative potential and dreams. Many people I know have never shared with anyone what they’ve created because of the defeating mindset that it won’t be appreciated or valued. This is a lie. And if you deal with these defeating beliefs, it’s time to go to Jesus and let the Truth of what He says about you and your worth set you free.
Let’s start with who GOD says we are and create a bright future!
