Living From God's Future Plan for Our Lives
Lately, I have wound up talking to so many people who are overwhelmed by the negative news and political unrest that is happening in the world right now. I have seen that people either tune it out because it’s so toxic or they deep dive into which side or stream to believe and how this will impact our future.
If you are dealing with this, it can have negative consequences on our well-being. This mindset causes people to live in fear and hear the voice of the enemy ABOVE God’s plans and purposes for them. The voice of the enemy still says the same thing to us as he said to Eve in the garden, “Did God REALLY say that?” He puts thoughts in our head that God is powerless and that fear is reasonable and part of common sense.
Yet, if I doubt that Papa God truly loves me and listen to the enemy, I will try to live my life through my limited understanding. This leaves us vulnerable and susceptible to let doubt live and breed within our thoughts and belief systems. This is why Proverbs 3 tells us to trust in the Lord with ALL of our heart and lean NOT on our own understanding.
If you have been dealing with this, I am so glad you have taken the time to read this newsletter, so that you can receive peace and hear God’s voice above anyone other voice that is telling you to doubt God’s goodness in your life.
Here are 3 fireproof ways that you can work on a mindset that brings you closer to God’s perspective, rather than feeling alone and afraid.
God’s Power is present and available. That’s right! I believe if Eve had cried out to Yahweh, He would’ve come running and lifted her out of that temptation and wrong mindset.
So, take a moment now, and ask Him to help you with any wrong mindset or fear of the future. Close your eyes and ask God to reveal His peace and His Presence.
Gain the Right Perspective. I think there are so many ways that we can view problems that create negative mindsets. Remember, what happened with the 12 spies that went into the Promised Land and how 10 came back with a negative report and created fear in ALL the Jewish community? This made them wander in the desert how many years? I don’t want that for you.
Yet, Joshua and Caleb had God’s perspective because they understood God’s nature in that if He had led them out of Egypt and told them to go into the Promised Land, He WOULD EMPOWER them to defeat the giants in that land.
Every prophetic word you’ve received about your prophetic creative calling has the seed of God’s miracle working power ready to empower you to walk into your Promise, fully convinced that He is faithful!
Take a moment, and reflect on what you believe about your creative dreams and purpose and see it full of promise and God’s limitless ability to help you steward every dream until it’s complete: Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Phil. 1:6).
Practice Putting On the New Mindset until You Believe It. I am sure that when Moses found out he was called to set God’s people go and tell Pharoah to let them go, he was shaking in his leather sandals.
We hear his excuses to God, “Hey, you have the wrong guy! Are you kidding me? I can’t even get my sheep to follow my voice. I stutter every time I am asked a question.” Yet, God never even mentions this as an issue, rather He says, "Just show them the miracles and do it just because I am with you." That’s all you need.
I am sure when he was on his way to Pharoah, practicing speaking with more force and was trying to see himself as God saw him. Yet, it wasn’t until he actually WENT to Pharoah that he witnessed the miracles. Faith requires action and your creative dream will not manifest unless there is an action plan behind it.
What would happen if you attended the School of Creativity and went in search of YOUR promised land? What if you received a prophetic word that gave you the burning bush experience you need to overcome!
Who are you AFRAID of becoming??
I know for me I was afraid of even calling myself an artist, writer, podcaster, poet, or minister because I never felt qualified. How about you?
I had to trust that who God said I was within, would become manifest on the outside. Contemplating who He had called me to be had the power to shape my limited understanding because now I am an author, artist, speaker, minister, and creative Holy Spirit-led evangelist.
I want that for you as well. God’s plan is to prosper and make you successful and to give you a hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). He calls you out of the darkness and the small cage you are in and says, “I am here and I see you. Come out of hiding and believe ME above the turmoil around you.”
Remember, you are born to create! Your future looks bright with God’s Presence lighting your path!
