Are You A Grasshopper or a Giant in the Faith?

How do you SEE yourself?

In Numbers 13 and 14, we have the account of the spies returning from the Promised Land and giving a report about what they saw, so that they could prepare to enter into the Promised Land. In Numbers 13:33, the ten doubting spies reported that they saw themselves as grasshoppers compared to the giants in the land—and gave a negative report.

Caleb saw the Promised Land as fruitful in Numbers 14:9 and told the people not to rebel against the Lord, or fear the people of the land because the Lord is WITH us and not to fear them. He saw himself as greater than any enemy in the Land because of God’s Presence.

A lot of us can be in situations like the 10 spies who were doubting who they were next to our lack, inabilities, insecurities, or circumstance. Fear in our hearts can squeeze out faith because we are relying upon our own ability and the strength of our enemy, which always gives our enemy the power.

Maybe you are dealing with issues that stem from what is happening in social media over church leaders, maybe you are facing circumstances or situations that seem as giants in your land.

I want to encourage you to CHANGE your perspective and stop looking at your own strength, who is right or wrong, offense, or a foreboding spirit and realize that God has already equipped you for any battle that you face.

How? He is always with you. He goes before you. He is already preparing food for you—just as Israel needed in the desert when Manna appeared. He will split the rock and have water of refreshing gush forth if we depend on Him and trust His Presence to lead us.

The Power of Jesus and His authority is no match for what you may be up against and He is there to help you accomplish what you have you have been designed to defeat because God is with you!

I see the Lion of Judah ROARING and standing guard and interceding for you as you go through any difficult times.

The 10 spies saw their enemy as greater than them, and they never saw that the Lord was WITH Moses and the Israelites because God instructed them to go in. If they had only remember that God qualifies whom He calls.

Change your perspective:

I want to encourage you to CHANGE how you see your overwhelming circumstances in light of what God has done in your life and in light of what He has done for others. Take courage and speak to any mountain to be removed. Live in faith that His Promises over your life are greater than the taunts or size of the mountain and enter your Promised Land through faith.

Declare heaven on earth. Walk as a child of God. Arise victorious BEFORE the battle is won!

Below is a painting I did of the Lion of Judah guarding you!

Remember you are born to create!
