The Power of Calming the Storm

No matter if you are experienced swimmer or not - if you are caught in a raging storm and you are about to capsize without any way of being rescued - you will be crying out for help.

I believe many people are in overwhelming storms and don’t see land or rescue in sight. This is exactly the time when God shows up and throws out His lifeline of hope. The way God does that is THROUGH us!

Many of you who are reading this newsletter are part of His “Search and Rescue” team, saving people who are lost on the seas of depression, unrelenting fears, and overwhelming anxiety. Or some of you may need to be rescued from a horrific marital relationship, poverty mentality, or mental hell.

I have always been drawn to helping people find peace in the midst of their storm. This is why I went after my degree in psychology and received my art in healing certificate. I knew that God has given me a great gift and passion for breakthrough in healing. Proverbs 20:5 says “The purpose in a man’s heart is like deep water, but a man of understanding will draw it out.”

For me, I found that art was the lifeline that works the best in helping to draw out the poison of unforgiveness, loss, regret, and fear. After I received my certificate of Art In Healing, I began to develop my course, “Create To Be Free,” which is a 6 module course, helping people to receive freedom in their identity, learning to forgive, deal with loss and abandonment, and gain tools to regain hope for themselves and their future (you can see and purchase this course on Theresadedmon.com/store).

Then, I began to see how this model would work in different people groups. I saw how quickly people opened up, created, and learned to let go of their pain, and receive God’s love to replace what the enemy has done.

I was able to teach it in church groups, marginalized people groups who had suffered severe trauma, and then I saw it transform children who had suffered abuse or had gone through pain and looked normal on the inside - but inside were hurting.

Now, because of certification, the power of Create to Be Free is going around the globe through people who are now teaching and implementing it for all different types of groups.

I pray you thrive in every area of your life and that you complete the race God has marked for you! I want to encourage you that God has designed you to thrive and not settle for anything less and He has designed you to heal the brokenhearted!
