You see, I believe that God wants to break off defeating mindsets, fears, and lack in your life through understanding the power of your relationship with God and how your creative dreams are VITAL for fulfilling your purpose on earth.

That’s why I am excited for you to hear Jessica’s story, one of my leaders in my Kingdom Creative Movement, who will be sharing her journey with you in this newsletter. She will also be leading one of our workshops in our upcoming online Fall Conference: “Awakening Creativity.”

Jessica’s Story

When I first joined Theresa’s Create Academy (now Kingdom Creative Movement), I had no idea how much it would impact my family. This has been such a wild and wonderful ride.

The first year I was inspired to begin writing books and finding ways to connect with and help my local community. I began to really dream with God.

Then something wonderful happened.

My kids began to dream with God too.

It’s so important for our youth today to know that they are hard-wired to create, not just consume. I am so excited about the creative ideas that they are coming up with and the realization that they can make a difference in this world with what they create. 

Last year, in the leadership track with KCM, I was blessed to get to lead a small group of teens. I can’t explain how inspired I was by these young people. As they went through the curriculum and we met each week to talk about what they heard from God that week.  Their enthusiasm was contagious. In the beginning, I think they were nervous that this was going to be another meeting where adults talked and they quietly listened, but as they began to share their dreams and passions, I saw each one bloom. 

In May, I was able to take my kids with me to the KCM retreat. They got to meet Theresa and Kevin and got so blessed by them. My daughter and I went out with Theresa to give out art and prophetic words. They were so impacted by this time that my two teens will be joining KCM live on Thursday evenings this year. I am so excited to see what they will do. In a culture where young people are struggling with identity, these young people are dreaming of ways to make a difference in the lives of those around them, each in their own creative ways. 

This year, I have joined the Mentorship with Theresa and will be teaching a workshop on Empowering Younger Generations to Create at the upcoming Awakening Creativity Conference. If you are a parent, youth leader, or teen, I would love to have you join us as we explore this topic and the realm of possibilities. Even if they haven’t discovered their creative voice, these young people can find their purpose and the joy in creating with God and dreaming with Him, too. 

What if we could inspire whole shelves of Manga, Young Adult Fiction, Anime, and more, all filled with the love of God and hope for the future?
