December Dawning
There are times in my early walks with Papa God with my dog, Kai right beside me that the Creator paints the most beautiful sunrises in the back fields where I live and I just watch the rays of His Light reflect glory in the heavens in the reflections in glassy waters and the clouds are dipped in His honey golden colors moving across the sky (see photo above).
It is then that all the world waits in hushed silence for His brush in the sky gradually reveal more light, revealing His Presence in the diminishing shadows that have not yet been touched by His warmth.
All of us are acquainted with shadows where His light has not come.
Many of us, as we think about the holidays and desires for family and loved ones to know Father God’s love like this must be reminded that there is hope in the rising sun for all those who live in darkness.
Loved ones you bring before the Lord may still be living in the shadows and may have not yet found “THE Light of the World. At this moment when the dawn light first shines, we have to realize that hope is our only option for our families. Now faith is the confidence of things hope for and assurance of what we do not see (Hebrews 11:1).
Faith is seeing the mid-day sun just as the new day dawns.
We have to realize that Creator God has plans to illuminate His love in the darkened areas of those who live in the shadows because His light shines on the waters in everyone’s souls.
My prayer for you is that you would take moments during these December days to remember that shadows DO flee and that in time, if we ask, His answer is always yes to saving those we love. You may not see those rays YET penetrate, but we have to believe that He is always for us and wants to answer our prayers in His time and in His ways for those we love.
So be encouraged... Look at this sunrise and see those you love touched by the rays of glory this season and that hope is secure like the sun dawning every day.
I pray that you find His Kingdom Faith, Hope, and Love as you learn to listen to His voice and His ways.
