Learn How Creativity and Prayer are Linked Together in the Brain

In recent years neuroscience has begun to unpack the wonders of the human brain and we can map out different parts of the brain that light up when you walk, run, and engage in various activities.

There are certain types of neuron networks that become fired up when you imagine and create and there are also certain neuron networks that fire up when you are praying and encountering God. But what is fascinating is that creativity and prayer neuron networks overlap. They are from the same set of neuro connections.

In other words, you are physically and neurologically wired for your creativity to lead to a spiritual encounter and for your spirituality to release your imagination and unleash your creativity.

Some people say that they are not very creative, as if it’s an ability, but everyone who has breath in their lungs is pulsating with creativity.

We are made in the image of a God who describes Himself as the Creator, and therefore whatever you do with your time—realize, you are a creative act in motion.

There is a deep need for us to recover the fire in our souls that we were created to create.

You were made by a Maker who wants you to make.

Creativity, when it’s turned outwards makes such a difference in people’s lives.

If you can encourage others by your love, truth, beauty, goodness, which flows through your imagination and creative outflow—it’s going to make a profound difference in the world.

You can never overestimate the unbelievable impact of small things done with great love and creative outflow to transform someone else.

Your creative act towards others is FIRE and it changes the world.

Not only have they found that these two are on the same neuro network (prayer and creativity), but they have found that if you COMBINE these two, your mental health can exponentially INCREASE well-being!

Remember you are born to co-create with God and change the world!
