Do You Feel Alone in Growing the Dream God Put Inside You?
Have you ever felt like the dream God gave you was taking longer than expected?
Maybe you've faced disappointment, setbacks, financial challenges, criticism, or seasons where you wondered if your dream would ever come to pass. If so, you're in good company.
One of my favorite biblical examples is Joseph. As a young man, God gave him a dream that he would influence nations and help save people. Yet between the dream and the fulfillment came betrayal, slavery, false accusations, and prison. It would have been easy for Joseph to quit. Instead, he remained faithful, continued to grow, and trusted God's process.
Years later, Joseph stood in the very place God had shown him in a dream. What seemed impossible became reality because he refused to let hardship define his future.
Dreams are rarely fulfilled in a straight line. They are developed through perseverance, character, faith, and partnership with God.
Recently, I was inspired by Christian artist Forrest Frank, who has used his growing platform to make a difference far beyond music. Through a partnership with World Vision, children around the world are being sponsored and cared for through the influence and generosity connected to his concerts and community. What began as a dream to create music has become a vehicle for transforming lives.
That is the power of a God-given dream.
When we steward what God places in our hands, our dreams become larger than ourselves. They impact families, communities, and generations.
Three Ways to Move Towards Your Dream Today
1. Get Clear on God's Vision for Your Life
Many people have dreams but lack a clear pathway forward. Clarity creates confidence and momentum.
Ask yourself:
What has God consistently placed on my heart?
What problems am I passionate about solving?
What gifts has God entrusted to me?
Dreams become realities when we move from inspiration to intentional action.
2. Grow in Community
Joseph didn't fulfill his destiny alone, and neither will we.
One of the greatest accelerators of growth is surrounding yourself with people who will encourage you, challenge you, and help you develop your gifts.
That's why I'm excited to invite you to our upcoming KCM Leadership Academy and KCM Thrive Life Academy.
3. Create an Action Plan for Your Dream
Dreams need direction.
Many people have a vision but don't know how to move from where they are to where God is calling them. The world needs what God has placed inside of you.
Don't let fear, disappointment, or delay keep you from becoming who God created you to be.
Your dream matters. Your voice matters. Your destiny matters. If it happened to Joseph—it can happen to you!
