Hope

Creators of Light

Creators of Light

As children of light we get to let the God of compassion fuel us into action as we believe that who we are and what we have matters. Our creativity in the hands of God can cause a ripple effect that fills the greatest need and overcome the powers of evil.

What if there’s a song inside you for someone struggling with depression? A dance waiting to be choreographed that displays true love? What does being a child of light mean to a world looking for hope?

Out of the Ashes

Out of the Ashes

Everywhere I go, people are talking about the fires, and the condition of their neighborhood, house, or how their family and friends made it through.  People who were total strangers have been brought together, and are engaging in heartfelt conversation.

This national disaster is something we have gone through and weathered together, and now we are committed to being “Redding Strong” together, as we begin to work at rebuilding our city, displaying the glory of God in our unified efforts.

The Fourth Man In The Fire

The Fourth Man In The Fire

Some people may think that when we are thrown into the fire we are defeated and left in despair, but when we see the 4th Man in the fire we are filled with hope for our future.

If you are going through fiery trials beyond your control, remember to look for the 4th Man in the fire, and know that He is there and will stand with you no matter what!

And then, when you have gone through the fire with the 4th Man, you can begin to reveal Him to others through your creative expressions to bring comfort and hope to those in the fire.

Finding Our Way Home On The Fourth

Finding Our Way Home On The Fourth

I know that the freedom I have been given through my relationship with Christ is something that others need all around me.

I am reminded that every time I write, sing, dance, paint, preach, and reach out, I am releasing spectacular fireworks of God’s goodness to heal and restore.

We need to “discover creative ways to encourage others and to motivate them towards acts of compassion, doing beautiful works as expressions of His love"

Creating Hope in a World of Terror

Creating Hope in a World of Terror

As I heard about the tragic deaths of students and teachers in Florida, who lost their lives to a teenaged gunman, firing in yet another school on American soil, my heart was so grieved.

My heart goes out to all of those who lost loved ones and family members in tragic terrorist attacks.

On the news, we see angry and distraught parents, students, educators, law enforcement, and politicians trying to make sense of gun control, safety in the classroom, and how our schools can be safe again.
