As summer begins to wind down, we are nearing the beginning of a new season, fresh with possibilities and moving forward towards a great awakening because of the pressing needs that are being confronted because of a godless culture that is collapsing before our very eyes.

It’s crazy that a teenager named David was the only one who had the courage to fight and kill a giant when all the fiercest warriors were afraid (I Sam. 17). Courage and having faith like David are the key ingredients for raising up children and youth to slay giants that stand up against them in the cultural pressures and wars that are now raging around the world for their identity.
Let me share with you what made me a giant killer when I was young.

I was one of the instructors at WorshipU in Redding, California where students come from around the world to grow in their walk with God through encountering God’s Presence in worship. The students also spend time building character and a foundation for longevity as creatives.
It’s such an awesome privilege to see what Brian and Jenn Johnson are building as they unite worship leaders to pour into students at this school and to see so many lives changed.
I wanted to write this blog not only to share about this process, but then to activate you so you can see God move as you create.
Thanksgiving enables us to face our present realities in light of the promise of future breakthrough.
The reality is that many people are facing some difficult circumstances this Holiday season. While many are rejoicing, there are also many who are feeling hopeless, given the emotional, relational, physical, financial, and spiritual obstacles in front of them.
As we spoke, healing miracles exploded throughout the crowd, as the team creatively released music, art, prophetic acts, and laughter upon the people. People were healed of back issues by looking at my painting. Kevin, and others, were healed by doing a prophetic act for their knee injuries.
I want to encourage you to dream and envision where the Lord will have you deposit the resource He has given you to impact the world, and bring more of Heaven to earth through your creative expressions.
There is so much to learn along the way as well, as we enjoy community with friends, and experience the wonders of His creation.
I want to encourage you to let God in to your pain and let Him speak creatively to you through what others create and how you can create.
Redemption and restoration is a promise you can creatively declare today for whatever traumas you are facing today or in the future, knowing that my testimony can be your testimony, no matter how dark your season is presently.
There has been some recent concern about the ministry of Christalignment, and their supposed use of tarot cards in ministering to people at New Age festivals.
First, “Destiny Cards” are not tarot cards. They do, however, have a similar look that attracts people who are searching for a “reading”. What they get from Christalignment staff is a prophetic word about their destiny, which is to have a personal relationship with Father God through Jesus Christ, and encountered through the Holy Spirit.
