As summer begins to wind down, we are nearing the beginning of a new season, fresh with possibilities and moving forward towards a great awakening because of the pressing needs that are being confronted because of a godless culture that is collapsing before our very eyes.

It’s crazy that a teenager named David was the only one who had the courage to fight and kill a giant when all the fiercest warriors were afraid (I Sam. 17). Courage and having faith like David are the key ingredients for raising up children and youth to slay giants that stand up against them in the cultural pressures and wars that are now raging around the world for their identity.

Changing Culture Through The Art of Culinary Cuisine
The Culinary Arts play a much larger role in our life experience than we may be aware of.
It only makes sense, then, that if we want to impact culture, even transform culture, we may have a better chance demonstrating the Good News through the “signs and wonders” of food, as well as our preaching.
One of the innate qualities in us as humans is that we want to hold on to the meaningful moments of our lives, and creativity is an amazing vehicle to do so. How many of us start taking pictures and video of our newborn as soon as they peek their head from the womb, capturing every movement, smile, and developmental step.
I used to believe that I was not a writer, which prevented me from taking myself seriously as a writer. Instead of being defeated by the voice of fear and rejection, however, I would daily force myself to write, while thanking God that He had given me a passion to write, and envisioning myself being introduced as a writer.
What if you didn’t think about what others thought when you drew? What if you sang the way you are wired without trying to compare your voice to someone else?
What if you really liked yourself?
It’s time to free your mind from living life self-conscious and just enjoy your originality and “like” the way you have been designed to be!
